If you are familiar with My Time at Portia, you may be familiar with its skill tree system. As you levelled up, you would gain a skill point that you could invest into three different perk trees. While a similar system is in place in My Time at Sandrock, there are some notable changes. This guide will provide information on the new Knowledge Skills in My Time at Sandrock Early Access and how to respec them.

In My Time at Sandrock, there are four different Knowledge Skill trees you can invest points into. As you engage in various activities, you’ll gain experience for each skill tree. Each tree has its own level and experience bar, meaning that only certain actions will contribute to it. Below is a list of all four Knowledge Skill trees, the perk nodes in each and in-game descriptions for them all:

The Gathering skill tree improves your efficiency with gathering resources from logging, mining, recycling and kicking trees. It also increases your chances of obtaining rare materials. Below is a full list of all available nodes in the Gathering Knowledge skill tree in My Time at Sandrock Early Access:

The Workshop skill tree improves your efficiency with producing items, assembling machines and water consumption. It also increases bonuses gained from your furniture. Below is a full list of all available nodes in the Workshop Knowledge skill tree in My Time at Sandrock Early Access:

The Combat skill tree improves your damage output while in combat. It also increases your maximum health points. Below is a full list of all available nodes in the Combat Knowledge skill tree in My Time at Sandrock Early Access:

The Social skill tree increases your commission rewards bonuses. Below is a full list of all available nodes in the Social Knowledge skill tree in My Time at Sandrock Early Access:

Since My Time at Sandrock is still in Early Access, not all Knowledge skill perks are available in the current version of the game. By the time the game fully releases, most, if not all, of the skill tree nodes will likely be unlockable if you have enough points.

If you ever need to respec your skill points, you can visit the NPC Fang at his Clinic in the northern part of town. He provides Acupuncture services that reset your Knowledge skill trees. You can choose to either reset individual trees or all four at once. You’ll have to pay 10 Gols for every skill point you have allocated in your chosen skill tree.

My Time at Sandrock Early Access is available starting May 26, 2022, on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
